With Marvel Studios X-Men ’97 Just around the corner, fans finally know which characters will be included in the show and the actors who will bring them to life.
After years of not knowing when the animation X Men The reboot would officially arrive on Disney+, fans were surprised to learn that its premiere date was set for March 20.
Recently, fans got a look at some of the team members’ logos and character designs, and in June 2023, it was announced which characters would appear in the first episode of the show.

Disney+ also revealed the official teaser poster via x (formerly known as Twitter) for the upcoming show, which sports a late ’90s retro feel with VHS tapes that feature different characters on the covers of each tape:
Ray Chase – Cyclops
Ray Chase will take on the role of Cyclops (aka Scott Summers), replacing Norm Spencer, who voiced the character in X-Men: The Animated Series and sadly passed away in 2020.
Since Charles Xavier left Earth at the end of X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men ’97 will take place just a few months after those events, the trailer made it seem like Cyclops will now be the absolute leader of the X.-Men .
However, a twist at the end of the released footage indicated that Scott will have his work cut out for him as Charles seemingly left everything to Magneto in his final will.

Jennifer Hale – Jean Gray
Jennifer Hale also joins the cast of X-Men ’97 Like Jean Grey. The character was previously voiced by Catherine Disher in X-Men: The Animated Series.

Alison Sealy-Smith will reprise her role as Storm in X-Men ’97. The actor played the character in 51 episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series from 1993 to 1997.
The trailer indicated that Storm will definitely be one of the most central characters in the upcoming series, showing off her powers, her iconic all-white hair, and her matching white outfit.
Sealy-Smith is also credited with roles in dark water, Loserand X-Men: Mutant Academy 2.
Cal Dodd – Wolverine
Cal Dodd is another actor who starred X-Men: The Animated Series and will return to reprise his role.

Lenore Zann will return to the world of Marvel, reprising her role as Rogue in X-Men ’97.
The teaser featured Rogue in several shots, and since she has her own VHS tape on the official poster, fans can expect to see her front and center.
Zann is best known for her work on stage mother, Triggerand Personally yours.
George Buza – Beast
George Buza, who also participated in X-Men: The Animated Serieswill return to the reboot to voice Beast.

Isaac Robinson-Smith – Bishop
Bishop’s character will also return in X-Men ’97this time voiced by actor Isaac Robinson-Smith.
Bishop only appeared in a handful of episodes of the 1990s animated show, but fans will remember him as a time traveler from the future (specifically 2055).
