2024 college basketball bad beat: OT sinks Baylor bettors against Houston

The extra time was not kind to the bettors who were left with 11th place Baylor Bears and 2.5 points compared to the second classified houston cougars on Saturday 12 big Men’s college basketball confrontation.

Here’s how the frantic final seconds of regulation (Baylor bettors were hopeful after a late 3-pointer was called back after the buzzer) and overtime unfolded as the Cougars took cover. 82-76.

Baylor bettors held out hope when Messi made a dunk with 35.3 seconds left, but was ruled out as an offensive goalie.

Instead of cutting Houston’s lead to 75-74, the Cougars scored five straight points to pull away.

Baylor missed seven straight field goal attempts as Houston covered, 82-76.

The Cougars are now 24-3, while the Bears moved to 19-8.
