Kate Middleton left Windsor Castle for the first time since undergoing planned abdominal surgery in January.
According to peopleThe Princess of Wales will spend time with her family at her and Prince William’s home at Sandringham Estate, known as Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
Their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, will join them during a break from school, according to the outlet.
The Daily Mail also reported that Middleton, 42, has left Windsor and is “recovering well.”
“She was hoping for a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the kids vent to William,” the outlet’s source added.
Kensington Palace announced on January 17 that Middleton underwent “successful” abdominal surgery and would remain hospitalized for 10 to 14 days.
Although it was a planned surgery, Middleton and Prince William, 41, reportedly kept their closest family members and advisors in the dark in an attempt to keep the matter private.
In an update on January 29, Kensington Palace announced that she had been discharged and was “making good progress.”
He left the London Clinic at the same time as his father-in-law, King Charles III, who was admitted to the same hospital to seek treatment for a benign enlarged prostate.

During surgery, the royal, 75, was found to have cancer, as Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.
“He remains entirely positive about his treatment and hopes to return to full public duties as soon as possible,” the announcement notes, remaining positive about the diagnosis.
It is still unclear what type of cancer was found.
The discovery will postpone King Charles’ public-facing obligations, but it is not known for how long.
The Princess of Wales is not expected to return to her usual royal duties until after Easter, but a royal told the Daily Express UK on February 1 that she had already started working “from her bed” at Adelaide Cottage in the Windsor estate.
