Kelly Rowland refused to answer questions about her controversial exit from the “Today” show but insisted she “loves” Hoda Kotb.
During an interview with Chicago WGN News On Wednesday, journalist Dean Richards asked the “Dilemma” singer if she wanted to explain why she abruptly left the NBC morning show last week.
“No, because I’m very excited and delighted to be here to talk about the movie and nothing else,” she said, referring to her upcoming Netflix drama, “Mea Culpa.”

Although Rowland declined to speak about the incident, Page Six exclusively reported that the Destiny’s Child singer left the “Today” show because her dressing room was not up to par.
“Kelly and his team were not happy. They didn’t like the dressing room, so they decided to take her off the show, leaving (Kotb) without a guest host during the 10 a.m. hours,” a source previously told Us about the Feb. 15 episode.
