After two hours of delays, SpaceX announced that it is now targeting 4:34 p.m. EST Sunday to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Starlink mission 6-39 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Space Force Station Reedbed.

Update 7:05 pm: SpaceX has canceled tonight’s launch attempt. No further information about the motive has been released.
Takeoff is now scheduled for 4:34 p.m. Sunday, with backup opportunities available if needed until 8:34 p.m.

Update 6:33 pm: In the event that tonight’s Falcon 9 launch is cancelled, SpaceX announced that more opportunities will be available starting at 4:34 p.m. on Sunday.
The launch was delayed again until 8:59 p.m.
Update 5:39 pm SpaceX has again postponed tonight’s scheduled takeoff time, according to the company’s website.
The launch is now scheduled for 8:59 p.m., four hours later than originally announced.

Update 5:27 pm: Brevard County Emergency Management officials have activated the agency’s launch operations support team ahead of the upcoming SpaceX Falcon 9 launch.
SpaceX aims for another Starlink launch on Wednesday
Update 5:07 pm: Assuming tonight’s Falcon 9 launch goes as planned, a new navigation advisory from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency indicates that SpaceX will target its next Starlink window on Wednesday, not Tuesday as initially planned.
Wednesday launch time: 11 a.m. to 2:31 p.m.
SpaceX has not yet publicly announced this Starlink 6-40 mission.
The launch will now take place after the closure of KSCVC
Update 4:36 pm: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex officials will now close the tourist attraction at 5 p.m., as SpaceX officials postponed the original scheduled takeoff time of 4:59 p.m.
SpaceX delays takeoff until 6:41 p.m.
Update 3:40 pm: SpaceX has delayed the scheduled takeoff time by more than 1 and a half hours, from 4:59 p.m. to 6:41 p.m.
