Kacey Musgraves revealed that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”
the country singer led to (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday to point out that she forgot to remove a clip from her hair before going on stage with actress Sydney Sweeney over the weekend.
She reposted a photo of herself during the comedy show’s closing credits wearing a denim maxi dress with a thigh-high slit and knee-high boots. She accessorized her look with a white clip to hold back her straight hair.
While the clip appeared to be part of Musgraves’ appearance, she seemed horrified by what it overlooked, writing: “The clip. I forgot to remove the clip.”
Musgraves’ hairstylist apparently left the clip in the Grammy winner’s hair while she ran to the stage to thank viewers for watching the show alongside Sweeney, 26, and guest star Glen Powell.
It wasn’t until the singer turned her body to hug the “Euphoria” star that she noticed the little wardrobe malfunction.
However, fans assured Musgraves, 35, that she had nothing to worry about.
“It looks good on you, girl,” one wrote.
“Girl, I thought I had a purpose, keep going!” Another intervened.
“Oh I thought it was on purpose lol well you looked (and sounded) fabulous either way,” a third chimed in.
Musgraves made her “SNL” debut on Saturday when she performed her hits “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to be True.”
The “Follow Your Arrow” singer is currently preparing to release her album “Deeper Well” on March 15 and recently said that her new work will be a new era for her music.
“This new album is an honest excavation of my own transformation over the past few years,” the songwriter wrote in a press release earlier this year.
“I’m emerging more centered, grounded and self-confident than ever, and I knew I wanted to create a multi-sensory experience that cultivates self-discovery and our connection to the natural world.”
