A French man, walking his dog, discovers a dinosaur fossil; I hid it for two years | Top Vip News

Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for more than 150 million years. Some of them were the largest and scariest creatures that have ever existed on our planet. There were more than 2000 species of dinosaurs. Scientists and researchers have developed several theories about the extinction of dinosaurs. Some of them suggest that a giant asteroid had hit the Earth, killing all possible species of dinosaurs, while others believe that a volcano erupted and killed them all.

Over the years, paleontologists have found several dinosaur fossils. Now, a man has reportedly found a 70-million-year-old dinosaur fossil in France. But the strange thing about his discovery was that he kept it hidden from the world for two years.

In 2022, Damien Boschetto reportedly discovered a 70 million-year-old dinosaur fossil, which was the complete skeleton of a titanosaur. The unexpected discovery of Buscato, 25, occurred in the woods near his home in the town of Creuse, in the south of France, while he was walking his dog. The area around Creuse has been reported to be rich in fossils of dinosaurs and other animals from that era.

Over the past 29 years, the area has been a center for dinosaur fossils and many of them have been found. The fossil found by Boschetto is that of Titanosaurus, which lived between 163.5 million and 66 million years ago.

The long-necked titanosaur was the largest animal of the dinosaur era. They were the size of modern whales and there were around 40 different species. They lived on all continents except Antarctica. But Boschetto had kept the discovery hidden from everyone for about two years. He is a big fan of paleontology and saw the bone protruding from this fossil, which was later extracted. He discovered that 70 percent of that 30-foot titanosaur’s fossil was completely intact. He said they initially felt like separate pieces. However, after proper excavation, it was discovered that all the bones belonged to the same skeleton.

Boschetto revealed that he kept this secret with the Archaeological and Paleontological Cultural Association (ACAP) because he wanted to keep this site safe from public view so that people would not come out in large numbers to see it.
