Ira Khan has shared never-seen pictures from his mehendi ceremony during which his superstar father Aamir Khan also donned mehendi on his hand. The pictures show how Aamir got Ira’s tattoo on his palm using henna. Ira joked that she is relieved to not have the turtle tattoo at the moment, which she recently got during her honeymoon. Sharing the mehendi images on Instagram, Ira Khan wrote, “Thank God I hadn’t gotten the turtles yet!! We are so cute (face emoji with hand over mouth).” The pictures show Aamir in an ice blue kurta pajama with a matching Nehru jacket, showing off the mehendi design of him. He is seen holding Ira’s hand, while showing off the tattoo design of his that he copied onto his wrist. A picture also shows Aamir giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Many called Aamir ‘the best father’ in the comments section. Many also reacted to Aamir’s youthful appearance even though he is two years away from turning 60. “Aamir has stopped aging? Ira and Nupur were on their honeymoon in Bali after their wedding celebration in Udaipur. Ira had shared a glimpse of her and Nupur’s new tattoo and captioned it: “Taking back an island.” While she had two turtles near her left collarbone, Nupur got a turtle tattoo on her right bicep.
Ira married fitness trainer and long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare in a recorded ceremony on January 3. The couple celebrated their wedding at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. The festivities included exercises, sports, a mehendi ceremony and a Christian wedding ceremony.
