ABC reveals trailers for new seasons of ‘Abbott Elementary’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Ava went to Harvard and became a really tough, competent principal on “Abbott Elementary”? Will Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) be the “best damn captain” Station 19 has ever seen? Will John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) get married without problems in “The Rookie”? Will “The Good Doctor” be a good father? What’s up with Meredith and Nick on “Grey’s Anatomy”?

Those questions, and more, are in play as ABC reveals previews for much of its primetime lineup, finally returning in the coming months after a long delay due to Hollywood strikes. Last week, the Alphabet network shared a preview of its winter and spring programming; now Variety has the exclusive full trailers for returning comedies “The Conners,” “Not Dead Yet” and “Abbott Elementary” ahead of their season premiere next Wednesday. ABC is also sharing full trailers for “The Rookie,” “The Good Doctor” and “Will Trent” ahead of their new season’s return on Tuesday, February 20.

Also here: previews for “Grey’s Anatomy,” the farewell season of “Station 19” and the ABC debut of “9-1-1,” all of which will air on Thursdays starting March 14. (Full trailers will be available closer to the premiere.) And ABC is also sharing the first look at an emotional audition for the new season of “American Idol,” airing Sunday, February 18.

This season, ABC also marks the 100th episodes of “The Rookie,” “The Connors” and “Station 19.” And this represents the final seasons of “The Good Doctor” and “Station 19.” ABC hopes to make an event out of the return of its scripted originals and midseason offerings by releasing these clips all at once.

Here’s a look at all the trailers and trailers for upcoming ABC series:
