Actress Cocoa Brown’s Georgia home catches fire, GoFundMe starts asking for help

The actress and comedian, famous for “For Better or For Worse” and many other shows and movies, was dealt a huge blow on Sunday when flames engulfed her entire property in Fayetteville, GA… where she lives with her young son. Phoenix.

In terms of how this happened, sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… Cocoa believes a lit candle may have fallen on some clothing in the house, and by the time the fire alarm went off… CB ran into the room , but it was quickly turning into hell.

We’re told Cocoa did her best to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher she had on hand, but the fire began to spread throughout the house… and she had to escape while she could.

Our sources say Cocoa was able to get her son and pets back… and they fled the house with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and they tell us they’re lucky to have made it out safely.

Then… Cocoa’s loved ones have started a GoFundMe for her, with a goal of $50,000, and so far, many people have come out to support her during this difficult time.

Cocoa is a working actress and comedian, and while she has worked A LOT (with over 60 acting credits to her name, plus a ton of comedy specials), the fact that her house burned down and was as damaged as before. clearly what she did here is a big setback for her.
