Adele has announced she is canceling her Las Vegas residency dates through March, revealing she is battling an illness.

In a post on social media, the singer wrote that she was sick at the end of the last series of shows as part of the residency and did not have full time to recover. “Unfortunately I have to take a moment and pause my Las Vegas residency,” she wrote. “I was sick at the end of the last stretch and throughout the break. I hadn’t had a chance to regain my full health before the shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice.

“And so, per doctors’ orders,” he continued, “I have no choice but to rest completely. The remaining five weekends of this stage will be postponed to a later date. We are already working on the details and the information will be sent to you as soon as possible.”

Adele was initially scheduled to begin her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in January 2022. But a day before the residency began, she revealed that she had to postpone the start of the shows due to production delays and much others. her team fighting COVID-19.
