‘Ajith is fine now’
Speaking to Zoom, Ajith’s spokesperson Suresh Chandra rubbished rumors about a brain cyst, stating that the actor was in the hospital for a general check-up when doctors found a swollen nerve. “On Thursday, Mr. Ajith was admitted to the hospital for a general check-up. There was excessive inflammation in the nerve that connects his ear to his brain. The doctors now got rid of it with a simple medical procedure. Ajith is fine, he walked from the ward to the ICU,” his spokesperson said, stating that the actor will be discharged in a day or two.
The spokesperson also told the portal that Ajith started taking his health seriously after the death of art director Milan, who died last year while filming in Azerbaijan. “Ajith was supposed to meet Milan in half an hour when he passed away. That devastated him and he started taking his health checks more seriously,” Suresh told the portal.

On Thursday, a fan shared a video of Ajith and his wife, former actress Shalini, visiting Apollo Hospital. But soon rumors began to circulate and fans were worried that the actor was having health problems. Rumors that he had a cyst didn’t help either.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala put these rumors to rest early on Friday and wrote, “Apart from a complete and regular health check-up, actor #Ajithkumar also underwent a cardiovascular and neurological check-up. Fans and well-wishers should not worry about his health… He is fine.”

Ajith will soon be seen in Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaa Muyarchi, which also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. The actor will resume filming the action thriller later this month. He will also star in an Adhik Ravichandran film.
