While basking in positive reviews for his performance, Akshay revealed in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar that he never sought or received professional assistance from Vivek Oberoi.

Expressing his respect for Vivek and his father Suresh Oberoi as actors, Akshay acknowledged the coincidence of working with Vivek in ‘Inside Edge’. Reflecting on his career, he reflected, “Now that I look back, my career would have skyrocketed if I had gotten help from Vivek.”
In an interview with India Today, Akshay Kumar praised ‘Fighter’ director Siddharth Anand, particularly praising a crucial scene suggested by the director.
