The teaser of Allari Naresh’s new film Aa Okkati Adakku was unveiled today at an event at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. A journalist asked Naresh why the latter hasn’t done more comedy films lately.
Allari Naresh said, “I can’t make a film like Kithakithalu today because people will call it body shaming. We cannot also talk about the color of a person. People are becoming more sensitive. It’s hard to create comedy that doesn’t offend anyone. So, I’m taking more time to focus on fun artists.”
Allari Naresh continued, “It is relatively easy to work in comedy films because the working hours will be less. Some approached me with comedy scripts, but they were full of parody and parody material. Some scripts even have double meaning dialogue. Family audiences will prefer to see comedians and should not feel uncomfortable at any time. This is what my father taught me. I will make films with healthy comedy.”
