Featuring Rajat Kapoor and Amruta Khanvilkar in the lead roles, the upcoming show titled Lootere revolves around how an Indian cargo ship is attacked for a kidnapping and ransom off Somalia. The 2 minute 11 second trailer showcases a powerful narrative in which Rajat Kapoor steps into the shoes of a captain and observes three unidentified ships approaching his ship, prompting him to immediately order to move to the citadel for safety. . Lootere will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 22, 2024.
Earlier, while talking about the show, the director and writer said that Lootere attempts to tell a story of power and greed that spirals into an international kidnapping crisis and the crew’s attempts to escape from it, further promising that the story is sure to take the audience on an emotional and thrilling adventure.
