Ariana Grande is pleading with her fans to stop sending “hateful messages” to the “people in (her) life” who may have inspired the songs on her new album, “Eternal Sunshine.”
The singer, 30, shared a lengthy message via her Instagram Story over the weekend after releasing her seventh studio album earlier this week.
“Hi, I just wanted to say that anyone who is sending hate messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is doing the absolute opposite of what I would encourage (and is also completely misunderstanding) . the intention behind the music),” he wrote on Saturday.
The “Yes, and?” The singer, who has been dating her “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater since her split from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez, continued, “I’m asking you guys to please don’t do it.”
