Bad Newz: Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk kiss Triptii Dimri while announcing a new film releasing on THIS date

Vicky Kaushal created a stir on the internet on Monday after teasing his fans about a new project with Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar, who is backing the film with his production house, has made an official announcement about the film’s title and shared a poster pack. The movie titled Bad Newz is all set to hit the theaters this July.

Sharing the announcement on his Instagram account, Karan wrote, “Get ready for the most entertaining hungama – a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits you… a comedy inspired by true events!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS July 19, 2024!”

Last year, several photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri went viral while they were filming in Croatia. In the pictures, Vicky Kaushal is seen hugging Triptii while recording the song. In one of the photos the actor is also seen lifting the Animal star in his arms. The upcoming entertainer is directed by famous Bandish Bandits director Anand Tiwari.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Triptii Dimri is currently enjoying the success of Animal. Released in December 2023, the film also starred Ranbir Kapoor. Triptii’s chemistry with Ranbir in the film was highly appreciated by everyone. Apart from Bad Newz, she will also be seen in Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, was last seen in Sam Bahadur. Apart from Bad Newz, she will also be seen in Chhava. The film is reported to be a period drama, where Kaushal will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna. The film is expected to delve into the bravery, sacrifice and war strategies of Sambhaji Maharaj while incorporating an emotional love story between him and his wife.
