Beetlejuice Beetlejuice brings the dead man home in its first trailer

[ad_1]

Tim Burton spent most of the last decade talking about how prepared he was to make a beetle juice sequel with Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton. And after all this time the perfect name beetle juice beetle juice is finally seeing the light of day.

Set a few years after the original film, beetle juice beetle juice catches up with Lydia Deetz (Ryder) and her teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) as the couple travels to Winter River to be with Lydia’s mother, Delia (Catherine O’Hara), following a sudden family loss. It’s unclear who the Deetzes are assisting in the new trailer, nor how any of them feel about the person who died.

But between Astrid’s discovery of the old miniature model of Winter River and Lydia watching in shock as Beetlejuice (Keaton) emerges from the play-sized city, the trailer makes it seem like we’ll see Burton’s creations return to the most there when beetle juice beetle juice hits theaters on September 6.
