Beyoncé is fully in her Country era. So nowadays it seems that even when she indulges in a fashion trend here or there, she does so through the lens of her next genre project. Case in point: her most recent look that consisted of sheer lace fabric and, you guessed it, a wide-brimmed cowboy hat. On Wednesday, the singer shared a video on his Instagram of his recent trip to the Super Bowl: he announced his next album Act II during a mid-game commercial, which definitely explains the cowboy hat. However, Beyoncé paired the accessory with a custom sheer Dolce & Gabbana dress inspired by her spring 2024 collection.
Her dress featured a handful of risqué details, including lace panels, a corset-inspired bodice, and a plunging neckline with spaghetti straps. Beyoncé’s matching black thong also peeked through the sheer fabric of her dress. The star completed her look with a reflective belt, tousled hair and bold lips. Even more sheer came in the form of sheer opera gloves that she accessorized with statement studs and rings. Beyoncé is definitely someone who sets instead of go on trends, but even when she mixes up something like this version of underwear, it still feels like something only she could really pull off.
It’s been a busy few days for the singer who, in between announcing her album, made a stunning appearance at the Luar show at New York Fashion Week, her first runway appearance in the United States in almost a decade. . After somehow traveling to a warehouse in Bushwick, Brooklyn, Beyoncé took her place in the front row in a Gaurav Gupta couture jacket that she paired with a metallic Luar bag. Her nephew, Julez Smith, made his runway debut during the event; her mother Solange Knowles and her grandmother Tina Knowles also attended.
From the metallic embellishments to the matching cowboy hat, the look was, appropriately, very Renaissance meets “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Beyonce Act II It’s scheduled for late March, so in the meantime, expect lots of sequins, maybe some sheer lace, and definitely a fair amount of cowboy hats.
