The finale of Bigg Boss 17 went on for over six hours on Sunday and as boring as things got at times, it also gave us some moments worth taking notice of. Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri’s jokes became stale and repetitive after the first hour, but host Salman Khan knew how to keep things lively.
Here are five moments from the finale that we think need an overhaul:
Is Arbaaz Khan planning a third wedding?
Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan appeared as guests in the final episode. Bharti Singh complained to Arbaaz for not getting an invitation to his wedding. Arbaaz quipped, “Agli waali mein bula lenge (I’ll call you next time).” When Bharti seemed surprised, he explained that he was talking about the upcoming wedding he was attending.
Arbaaz recently married Sshura Khan. This is her second wedding. He was previously married to Malaika Arora for 19 years and they separated in 2017.
Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit’s HANK reunion
Host Salman Khan reunited with Madhuri Dixit in the final episode. He was there to promote his upcoming dance reality show, Dance Deewane, along with Suniel Shetty. Madhuri and Salman skillfully recreated the pool scene from Hum Aapke Hain Koun, leaving all the contestants and guests in awe of their chemistry.
Even Abdu Rozik came on stage dressed as Prem from the song Didi Tera Devar Deewana and hit Madhuri on the butt with a slingshot flower. The actor put on an adorable and surprised expression at his prank.
Madhuri also laughed when Krushna Abhishek pretended to be Jackie Shroff and lamented that she always left him for another hero in her films like Ram Lakhan.
Salman Khan roasts Vicky Jain’s mother
Salman Khan finally managed to troll and roast Vicky Jain’s now famous mother Ranjani Jain in the final episode. He compared her to Lalita Pawar, but said the actor was actually a “very sweet lady.” He even asked her if she had also fought with her husband like Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, she said “not at all”. Salman joked that perhaps she was too impressed with how rich her husband was and decided not to put her wealth on the line.
Anurag Dobhal was not spared
Salman noted that Anurag Dobhal is so upset with the show that he didn’t even show up at the end. He said that he must be riding his bike somewhere in the mountains.
Don’t gossip elsewhere!
Krushna Abhishek also joked about the contestants’ family making explosive comments in the media, referring to Vicky Jain’s mother. Ranjani Jain gave multiple interviews to different media portals, talking about how she never wanted Ankita to be her daughter-in-law and how Vicky bears all of Ankita’s expenses. Krushna joked that guests should try not to tell the juiciest gossip to others and save it for the show.
