Microsoft Inc. co-founder Bill Gates took to social media on Tuesday to thank the Ambani family for inviting him to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. He said it was the first time he had attended a wedding celebration in India. “…it was amazing,” he said in the post.
Gates, who was part of the star-studded gala, also wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for inviting us and giving us an excuse to catch up with old friends.”

She also shared some pictures from the pre-wedding mega celebrations. In the images, Gates is seen sporting a shiny vest, paired with beige pants.
Bill Gates arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat on March 1. He was among global bigwigs like Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, Ivanka Trump and several former prime ministers who attended the special celebration for billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son.

The guest list also included former Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt, former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, Google Chairman Donald Harrison, former President of Bolivia Jorge Quiroga, former Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd, and the president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus. Anant Ambani, 28, will marry his long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant in July. Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare Pvt. Limited. Ltd., and businesswoman Shaila Merchant.

A three-day pre-wedding celebration began on Friday, with some of the biggest names from across the world of entertainment and business arriving at Ambani’s sprawling estate in Jamnagar.
Several videos and images of the event went viral on social networks. Electrifying celebrity performances and other cute moments were among the highlights of the event. The festivities also included a special drone show and a lavish performance by pop sensation Rihanna.
