Billie Eilish and Melissa McCarthy teamed up as presenters at the SAG Awards on Sunday to present Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Series, which Ayo Edebiri won for her role in Bearand McCarthy left with a special autograph… signed on his forehead in permanent marker.
McCarthy told Eilish that they had met several times, including when Eilish was still in the womb because her mother was McCarthy’s improv teacher and was pregnant with her at the time. While Eilish acted like McCarthy’s display was a little awkward, she played along. But then, the actress asked the singer to autograph her dress. Eilish refused because she said her dress was very pretty. McCarthy then asked her to autograph her face, to which she agreed.
“Oh! OKAY. I thought you were going to say, ‘I don’t want to ruin your pretty face!'” McCarthy said, handing her a Sharpie.
That’s when it became clear that the two were enjoying the joke when Eilish used the marker to put her signature on McCarthy’s forehead and as the actress continued trying to speak, Eilish covered her mouth and the two burst out laughing.
Eilish contributed the song “What Was I Made For?” toward Barbie soundtrack. The film is nominated for four awards, including Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture and Best Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture, Margot Robbie is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role and Ryan Gosling. is nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.
