Alicia Keys congratulates Billie Eilish for doing everything she can for her youngest son, Genesis.

The 16-time Grammy winner told the story of how the “What Was I Made For” singer recently took time out of her busy schedule to make her 9-year-old daughter feel special on Friday’s episode of Tonight’s program.

It all started when Genesis decided that had to call Eilish. “He would just ask me every day, ‘Mom, can I leave him a voicemail?’” Keys recalled. “And I said, ‘I don’t know, what kind of voicemail are you going to leave him?’ What kind of voicemail?’”

Genesis just wanted to give the Oscar-winning musician flowers. “He said, ‘I’m just going to say…I’d like to be friends and I really like his music,’” he said. “And then he leaves this whole message after harassing me for days and days.”

Keys said after the call that her son “continued to harass me if she texted him back.”

“He wakes me up in the morning, at night he doesn’t go to sleep: ‘Did he write to me? Did she write to me? Did she leave me a message from her?’” she said before revealing: “She left him a message.”

“Can you believe it?” -Keys asked. “It was so sweet.”

Eilish isn’t the only superstar Genesis has connected with recently. Early in her conversation with host Jimmy Fallon, Keys recounted how her son recently met up with Taylor Swift at a stop on her Eras Tour after they met when he was younger at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

“He was like, ‘Will he remember me?’ And it was quite a deal,” Keys said. “He said, ‘She’s known me since she was 3, right, Mom?'”

Fallon then showed off an adorable photo of Swift kissing a beaming Genesis on the cheek, so it looks like she did remember him.

“Oooh!” Keys applauded at the image. “Come on, Gen Gen!”
