After more than a decade of successful marriage, Blake Lively reveals the rule she and Ryan Reynolds followed throughout their relationship: don’t work at the same time.
Speaking about the vote on the Further Ado program, the Green Lantern The actress said: “When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule of not working at the same time. So we could always prioritize our personal lives.”
The promise, the star shared, has its downsides. “That requires working very hard when we’re not there,” described the 36-year-old. “Like financial planning and maintaining it, it takes balance.”
However, reinforcing the rule, Blake explained its importance, especially when he was working on Gossip Girl.
“I’m used to working hard and going and going and going and going and not stopping… Gossip Girl was six years of my life, and sometimes we were filming three episodes at a time.”
Since 2012, Ryan and Blake have been married. The couple shares four children.
