Blue Ivy Carter joined her father, Jay-Z, on stage at the 2024 Grammys dressed like the musical royalty she is. Jay-Z gave his Dr. Dre Global Impact Award speech with his 12-year-old daughter and Beyoncé’s daughter next to him.
Blue was all smiles on stage, wearing a white midi dress with a draped princess skirt and white boots by Larroudé. She carried a white handbag with her.
the blue is already a Grammy winner herself, receiving her first trophy at age 9. She celebrated her 12th birthday on January 7.
Beyoncé didn’t pay tribute to her at the time, but she posted about her daughter in May to praise her. his work dancing on the Renaissance Tour. “My beautiful firstborn 🙏🏾,” Beyoncé wrote on May 29. “I am very proud and grateful to be your mother. “You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
Not much is shared about Blue. But for her 10th birthday, Blue’s grandmother, Tina Knowles, gave fans a little glimpse into Blue’s personality in the birthday tribute shared on Instagram.
“The day you were born was one of the best days of my life,” Tina wrote. “I was really praying and pushing your mom to have you on January 4th, which is my birthday. I really wanted you to share my birthday, but like your Aunt Solo, you decided to come when you were very ready, and that was January 7th, three days after my birthday. Knowing you and your personality now, I realize that you needed your own day because you were a queen and you are very special! You can sing, dance, play basketball, play, volleyball, paint, draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, write songs, create, act, play the piano! I could go on and on. Because there really is nothing you can’t do. You are fun, beautiful, elegant, kind and very intelligent. I couldn’t ask for a better granddaughter, Mrs. Blue Ivy Carter!
