Breckin Meyer and Kelly Rizzo make public debut as a couple

Breckin Meyer and Kelly Rizzo are officially a couple.

On Sunday, the franklin and bash the actor, 49, and the influencer, 44, who was married to Bob Saget until his death in 2022, they made their public debut at a charity event for Janie’s Fund, Steven TylerThe initiative for victims of abuse.

Rizzo told E! that she didn’t feel comfortable looking for a new relationship for a long period after the Full house Death of the comedian. “It took me a while … to get to the point where I was like, ‘Okay, I think he’d be happy with that,'” he said.

Rizzo also told the outlet that the new relationship has the blessing of Saget’s three adult daughters. “It’s wonderful, it meant a lot to have her blessing,” she said. “They are just angels. And having their support is very meaningful.”

Saget, who died on January 9, 2022at 65 years old after suffering head trauma in a hotel room, remains a massive presence in Rizzo’s life. “I love talking about him all the time and working with his foundation,” he said. “He’s never going anywhere.”

“I just mean, every day, not even every year, it’s just every day, he’s still a very important part of my life.” Rizzo told PEOPLE. “And I love being close to her girls and daughters. And just honoring him with little things that I do all day, every day.”

Rizzo paid tribute to her late husband on Instagram last month on the second anniversary of his death. “I’m still impressed that Bob hasn’t faded from his hearts in the slightest. It means a lot”. she wrote. “Thank you for allowing me to continue sharing Bob and thank you all for continuing to keep his memory alive.”
