Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles home destroyed by fire

British model Cara Delevingne’s multimillion-dollar home in Los Angeles was destroyed after it caught fire on Friday (March 15) morning.

The fire is reported to have broken out around 4 a.m. local time. It took nearly 100 firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department to put out the fire.

“There was a very long driveway, where they found a large two-story single-family home showing fire and smoke from the rear,” LAFD Capt. Adam VanGerpen said in a statement.

“This went up into the attic and spread throughout most of the house. So the house has a lot of excessive damage.”

Hours later, Delevinge – who was in London playing Sally Bowles in the West End revival of Cabaret – He posted about the incident on his Instagram story.

“Today my heart is broken… I can’t believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So value what you have,” the 31-year-old said. Paper cities the actor wrote, along with a photo of his two cats.

In a follow-up post, he shared a video of several fire trucks outside his home.

A babysitter who was inside at the time is reported to have suffered minor injuries. They were taken to the hospital where they are being treated.

The cause of the house fire is unknown, but is currently under investigation.
