Celine Dion celebrated International Stiff Person Syndrome Day amid her battle with the disorder by sharing a rare photograph of her children.

“Today the world recognizes International MSF Awareness Day,” Dion, 55, wrote via instagram on Friday, March 15, along with a photo of the singer with her three children. “As many of you know, in the fall of 2022 I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day return to the stage and live as normal a life as possible.”

She continued: “I am deeply grateful for the love and support of my children, my family, my team and all of you! I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world who have been affected by MSF. I want you to know that you can do it! We can do it! (SPS is a rare neurological disorder that causes spasms that affect the muscles and vocal cords.)

Accompanying the caption was a rare photo of Dion and her three children, René-Charles Angélil, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13, which she shared with her late husband. Rene Angelilwho died in 2016.
