Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s much-awaited film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ will release in theaters on February 9. While fans are eagerly waiting to see Shahid and Kriti’s on-screen chemistry, the film went through a censor check and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) decided to cut an intimate scene.

Apart from the intimate scenes, the censor board also asked the makers to change the word ‘Daru’ to ‘Drink’ in the second half of the film.

CBFC CUT FILM SCENE

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are working together for the first time in the romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Ahead of the film’s release, Bollywood Hungama reported that CBFC asked the makers to remove some scenes from the film. These cuts, in turn, have reduced the film’s running time.

The censor board reportedly asked the team to trim around nine seconds from an intimate scene, thus shortening its original length from 36 seconds to 27 seconds. Apart from that, the board has directed the makers to include the static anti-smoking message in the film and make it more readable.

Apart from this, the CBFC has also directed the makers to replace the word ‘daru’ with ‘drink’ in a scene. The film received the U/A certificate and has a running time of 143.15 minutes (2 hours, 23 minutes and 15 seconds).
