KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Lisa López-Galván’s family hoped she would lounge around in a Harrison Butker jersey, and the Kansas City Chiefs kicker delivered.
On the day López-Galván was tragically killed as the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally ended, her family says she was wearing a white Butker jersey.
A family member said it was her husband’s request to bury López-Galván with the shirt, but they were having trouble finding one, Butker’s representatives told KSHB 41.

The family took to social media asking for help and Butker found out about the request.
Butker’s representatives confirmed that the Chiefs kicker donated a jersey to the family.
“My wife Isabelle and I are heartbroken by Lisa’s murder due to degenerate violence,” Butker said in the statement. “Murder is a sin that cries out to God for vengeance and I pray that the men involved in this tragedy are brought to justice.” justice. Hearing that she was a fan of my candor about our shared Catholic faith makes this even more personal. It is my honor to provide a t-shirt to her family for them to wear. As the family mourns her loss and deals with her numerous injuries, I will continue to pray for her healing and the repose of Lisa’s soul.”
Services for López-Galván are scheduled for Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24. according to his obituary.
