Christina Applegate questioned about Ozempic after losing 30 pounds amid MS battle

Christina Applegate opens up about her battle with multiple sclerosis. The actress, who has hinted at retirement due to her health problems, was diagnosed in 2021.

The “Married… With Children” alum, 52, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 42, who also has MS, sat down with People where they talked about the ups and downs of the disease.

Applegate explained that she recently lost 30 pounds after initially gaining 45 as his illness progressed.

When she made her surprise appearance at the Emmys in January, she joked that her “body wasn’t Ozempic.”

The “Hall Pass” actress told the outlet that she was asked if she had lost weight using the diabetes medication.

Applegate was hospitalized “many times” for her symptoms and medical professionals did not know “what was happening” at the time.

“But we’re pretty sure my stomach and intestines aren’t very good friends. It causes severe pain and vomiting,” Applegate said.

“I gained 45 pounds when I was diagnosed, due to steroids and lack of mobility. It’s just a body that doesn’t feel right. And I’ve lost thirty-something,” he continued. “People say, ‘What have you been doing?’ And I say, ‘Vomiting.’ Not Ozempic. Throwing up”.

Other symptoms Applegate has experienced include urinating in his pants “because he probably won’t be able to get to the bathroom in time,” he explained.

Therefore, diapers are an important necessity for your daily routine. In the chat, she then pulled down her pants and showed off her floral-printed adult underwear.

“And we have unfinished business with the designers, because who wants a beautiful flower on their diaper? I should really say “Fuck my life,” Sigler interjected.

However, the women joked that MS has “some benefits.”

“First of all, the parking is incredible,” Applegate laughed.

“There could be a cure for MS and I won’t give up my disability poster. We earned it!” the “Big Sky” actress intervened.

The actors connected in 2021 after their mutual friend Lance Bass put them in touch. While Applegate recently began battling MS, Sigler has been living with the disease for more than two decades.

The couple are now launching a new podcast together titled “Messy”, which will drop on March 19.

They also went through “Good morning america”, where Applegate recalled her appearance at the Emmys.

“I fainted a little bit,” he told host Robin Roberts. “People were like, ‘Oh, you were so funny,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t even know what I said.’ I don’t know what he was doing.’ I was so scared that I didn’t even know what was happening anymore. And I felt really loved, and it was a beautiful thing.

“I probably shouldn’t say this, the public defended everyone,” he laughed.
