The all indian Cinema Workers Association (AIWCA) has demanded a FIR TREE against Poonam Pandeystating that his actions were considered “very wrong” and “unacceptable.”
On Saturday, the Indian Film Workers Association (AICWA) issued an official statement through her social media account, urging legal action not only against Poonam Pandey but also against her manager. The association condemned the publicity stunt, stating that such actions are not acceptable in the film industry and that no one should stoop to such levels.
“Model-actress Poonam Pandey’s fake PR stunt is very wrong. Using the appearance of Cervical cancer for self-promotion is not acceptable. After this news, people may hesitate to believe any news about death in the Indian film industry. No one in the film industry stoops to such levels when it comes to public relations. Poonam Pandey’s manager had confirmed the fake news, so there should be an FIR against Poonam Pandey and his manager to prevent anyone from exploiting the news of her own death for personal gain (PR). The entire Indian film industry, along with the entire nation, paid tribute (sic),” the statement read.
