Springsteen once again postponed two shows in Philadelphia, this time just hours before the show was set to begin, after he reportedly “fell ill.”

The 20-time Grammy winner finally revealed in September that he was “being treated for peptic ulcer symptoms.”

“Here at E Street, we are heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” read a statement on their Instagram on September 27. “We’ve had a great time at our US shows and look forward to seeing more.” Good times. We will be back soon. Love and God bless you all, Bruce.”

In November, Steven Van Zandt, one of Springsteen’s guitarists, stated that Springsteen was in “excellent shape.”
