Confident of winning and returning to power, the prime minister estimated that the NDA would win more than 400 electoral seats, and the BJP would win at least 370 of them.

The prime minister said the first term of the NDA government was dedicated to plugging the loopholes of the previous Congress-led government, while the second term focused on the development agenda. “In our third term, the goal of becoming ‘Viksit Bharat’ will gain new speed,” he said.

Referring to the President’s address to a joint session of Parliament on January 31, the Prime Minister reiterated that the government’s priorities would be based on four key pillars: youth power, women power, farmers and the poor.

“We want India to become a hub of manufacturing, innovation and R&D,” Modi said.
