Darius Rucker’s ex-girlfriend Kate Quigley slammed him as an “idiot ex” after his arrest.

The comedian candidly criticized the Hootie & the Blowfish frontman on X (formerly Twitter) after he was arrested on drug charges in Tennessee.

“Yes. I heard. All I can say is Karma. ❤️”, Quigley. aware Thursday afternoon.

She followed the tweet with a photo of her lounging in a blue bikini while sticking her tongue out.

“Mood when you hear your asshole ex got arrested. 😋❤️. #Karma”, she aggregate.

Page Six confirmed that Rucker, 57, was arrested Thursday in Williamson County, Tennessee, where he lives.

He was charged with three misdemeanors, including two counts of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and one count of violating the state’s vehicle registration law.

According to TMZPolice charged him with driving with an expired license plate.

The musician was released after paying bail of $10,500.

Rucker’s brief relationship with Quigley, 42, began following the country singer’s separation from his ex-wife, Beth Leonard, in July 2020 after 20 years of marriage.

They made their relationship public that September with a snapshot of the comedian sitting on the “Wagon Wheel” artist’s lap.

It’s unclear exactly when the former couple broke up, but they broke up in September 2021 when she accidentally overdosed.

At the time, Quigley was at a party in Venice Beach, California, when he allegedly used cocaine and fentanyl with a group of friends.

Although they were not together, Rucker gave an update on his condition.

“You know, she’s doing great. She’s coming out of it,” she said at the time.

However, Quigley’s friends, Fuquan Johnson, Enrico Colangeli and Natalie Williamson, did not survive.

“My heart goes out to all the other victims, but (Quigley) is fine,” he added.

Quigley later took to social media to mourn her three friends while also criticizing the “Let Her Cry” singer for giving a health update on her behalf.

“Hi Darius, could you please refrain from making public comments about my health or well-being since you haven’t called once to check on me and you have no idea?” she wrote previously. “Thank you Boo Boo!!!”

Quigley further confirmed that she and Rucker were no longer together when she admitted that she didn’t expect her ex to be civil while speaking to reporters.

“That stung. I won’t lie,” she tweeted at the time. “When I saw the TMZ report I thought, great. She’s probably writing a song about me called ‘Let Her Die.’”
