Deepika Padukone has reacted to the ethnic look chosen by Isha Ambani for the pre-wedding festivities of her brother Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant. On Instagram, Vogue India shared a video showing how Isha Ambani’s choli was made with her own earrings and other jewelry. Reacting to the clip, Deepika wrote, “Whew!” (heart eyes emoji). One person wrote: “I don’t think even the Rani-maharanis (queens) of old times have worn something like this! What a strange experience!” One comment read: “Too good. Creativity is something else… Who would have thought that vintage jewelery could be used on a blouse and turn it into a timeless and eternal piece of clothing?”

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s three-day pre-wedding festivities concluded on March 3. Celebrities and prominent personalities from all over the world had flocked to Gujarat for the festivities.
The guest list included Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. Famous sports personalities like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar, among others, were also present.

Isha and her mother, Nita Ambani, gave a special performance on the second day of Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities to extend a warm and traditional welcome to the guests. The mother and daughter performed the song Ghar More Pardesiya from the film Kalank. Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant will marry industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika Merchant later this year in July.

For the event, Deepika was seen in different outfits over a period of three days. She wore a simple black dress on the first day of the festivities. She was also wearing a long, light off-white jacket and baggy pants. Deepika opted for a gold lehenga and a choli. She was also seen in a red and gold saree for the event.
