Dhanush’s upcoming D51 titled ‘Kubera’, the actor looks unrecognizable in the first look; Look

Dhanush has created a buzz on social media after the release of the first look of his upcoming film, Kubera. The film was until now known as D51. The makers on Friday released the motion poster featuring the actor in an unrecognizable avatar. The first look left fans eager to know about his role. Rashmika Mandanna is also in the cast of the film.

Kubera is one of Dhanush’s most awaited films and with the first look released, it has raised the excitement level. Kubera is the name of the richest Hindu god. At first glance, Dhanush seems to be playing the lead role in the film, but unlike his name, the actor looks like a beggar. In the background, we can see the photo of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva on the wall.

Recently, a video of Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna shooting for the film went viral. The film is directed by Shekhar Kammula.

Last year, Rashmika announced that she would also be a part of the film. Taking to Instagram, Rashmika shared a video to make the special announcement. “Hey guys. Today I have a big, big, BIG surprise for all of you. I’m really, really excited about this, so I’m really excited to show it to all of you too,” she said, before unveiling the framed D51 poster.

D51 was announced last month on Dhanush’s birthday. Director Shekhar Kammula took to his social media accounts and announced that he will direct Dhanush’s 51st film. Along with the ad, he shared a poster on which a wad of money was placed while a city landscape filled the remaining frame.
