Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine, directed by Shakti Pratap Singh, will release on March 1, 2024. The film is based on the Pulwama attack and Varun Tej plays an Air Force pilot. Recently, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter focused on the same incident and hence people started drawing parallels between these two films.
During the trailer launch event, director Shakti Pratap Singh responded to the comparisons. She said, “Ours is a film about the Indian Air Force. I haven’t seen Fighter. I’m sure we’re bringing a unique perspective to the audience. Everything we show in our film happens very commonly in the Air Force. But not many people know it. Operation Valentine is not just about action. “It explores the camaraderie and relationship between Air Force pilots.”
The film is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment (Vakil Khan) and Nandakumar Abbineni. Mickey J. Meyer composed the melodies, while Sai Madhav Burra wrote the dialogues.
