TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Dolphins star wide receiver Hill Tyreek is being sued by a Florida woman who claims Hill broke her leg while pushing her “hard” during a soccer lesson at her home, according to a lawsuit filed Friday.

Sophie Hall, an influencer, model and actress who lives in Pasco County, filed the lawsuit in Broward County.

Hall purchased a ticket for his 10-year-old son to attend “Tyreek Hill Soccer Camp” at Boca Raton High School in June 2023, according to the lawsuit. Hall claims she was never in contact with Hill before purchasing the ticket.

The day after Hall registered her son for the event, Hill sent him direct messages on Instagram and commented on his height “in a flirtatious and playful manner,” according to the lawsuit.

“I literally paid for camp for my son yesterday and now you’re here,” Hall said in response to Hill’s messages. Hill then responded that he will see her “beating everyone, I guess,” according to the lawsuit.

Hill went on to say, “I’m known for being a good stepdad.” The lawsuit includes screenshots of the message exchange.

After Hall’s son attended the camp, Hill asked Hall to visit him at his home, according to the lawsuit.

Hill made travel arrangements for Hall to visit him at his home in Southwest Ranches on June 28, according to the lawsuit. Hall arrived at his house and Hill had to leave for a couple of hours, but when he returned, he had a session with his trainer on her grass field while Hall stood by and watched.

Hill then asked Hall to join him for offensive line drills, “since her 10-year-old son played offensive lineman, she should practice that position as well,” according to the lawsuit. During the drill, Hill told Hall to rush him as if she were chasing a quarterback.

Hall pushed Hill back, causing laughter from Hill’s mother, sister, friend and coach, according to the lawsuit. Hill reportedly became angry, “apparently embarrassed by his loss of stability as a result of a woman’s contact during the ‘football game.’”

Hill then set up the same drill but with the roles reversed, and after the ball was broken, she stood her ground, the lawsuit claims. She put the play on again, but this time “he charged her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries.”

Hall suffered a fracture to his right leg, which required surgery and metal hardware implantation, according to the lawsuit.

Hill, “nicknamed the ‘Cheetah’ for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes a living by humiliating and outperforming his competitors on the football field,” the lawsuit reads. “Unfortunately, after being ‘humiliated’ in front of friends and family when his friend Sophie Hall knocked him back during a friendly football lesson, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and decisively pushed Mrs Hall , severely fracturing his leg and requiring surgery. with orthopedic reconstruction and hardware implantation.”

Hill is accused of downplaying Hall’s injury and failing to provide him with medical attention. He reportedly told her to “rest” and offered to lie down and ice her leg, according to her lawsuit.

Hall returned home on July 1 and went to his orthopedist where he was diagnosed with a broken leg.

Hall attends weekly physical therapy sessions to treat the injury and has pain and weakness in his lower extremities, according to the lawsuit.

Hall is suing Hill for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence. Hall is seeking a jury trial.

Hill has not commented publicly on the allegations. Online court records did not list an attorney for Hill who could comment on the lawsuit.
