Former Drake and Josh Star Drake Bell is set to publicly share claims that he was abused by Brian Peck, who worked as a dialogue coach at Nickelodeon. Everything that and Amanda’s show. Silence on set is a four-part documentary series billed as an uncovering of “the toxic and dangerous culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late ’90s and early ’00s.” According to ID, “the curtain opens on an empire, built by creator Dan Schneider, who had undeniable control over popular culture.” The docuseries “reveals an insidious environment rife with allegations of abuse, sexism, racism, and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew.”
New accusations from Nickelodeon alumni were revealed in a trailer released last month, including from former Everything that cast members Giovonnie Samuels, Kyle Sullivan, Bryan Hearne and Katrina Johnson and director Virgil Fabian. Bell, who co-starred in the Nickelodeon film. Silence on setwhich will air over two consecutive nights beginning March 17, is directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz and produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction in association with Business Insider.
