Cody Rhodes goes after Roman Reigns and the WWE Universal Championship in WrestleMania 40, and that meant finding a worthy challenger for Seth Rollins and the world heavyweight championship in another way. That way: a fight in the Elimination Chamber today (Saturday, February 24, 2024) Elimination chamber Premium live event at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.

- Bobby Lashley
- Randy Orton

And the order of elimination (and by whom they were eliminated):
- Lashley (McIntyre)
- Knight (McIntyre)
- Owens (Orton)
- Pablo (Orton)
- Orton (McIntyre)
They all arrived at the game before the first elimination occurred. Meanwhile, Orton hit his DDT on the outside mat and immediately started selling like he sprained his back again, which became the focus for him. Elsewhere, Paul took the big spot, being impaled by Lashley through one of the pods. It wasn’t long after that spot that a Claymore took out Bobby.
Suddenly, AJ Styles appeared and took a chair from Knight, leaving him lying after a Styles Clash on top of one. McIntyre didn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, taking the pin to get Los Angeles out of there.
Owens was knocked down after a great exchange with Orton, despite his back injury. He also managed to take down Paul, who had just pulled out his brass knuckles and spent too much time flexing them without keeping an eye out for the RKO (out of nowhere, of course).
And then Paul, angry at the situation, stayed long enough to hit Orton with brass knuckles. McIntyre, ever the opportunist, took the win, beating Orton to win the match and book his ticket to the big show.
