Elizabeth Hurley admits she didn’t mind filming sex scenes for her latest movie because her son Damian, 21, was directing the action.
The actress, 58, stars in “Strictly Confidential” and the trailer features some spicy scenes between her and actress Pear Chiravara.
The “Austin Powers” star admitted that although the scenes “weren’t necessarily things I’d done many times in movies before,” she wasn’t worried.
“Having him there meant I felt safe and cared for,” she explained during a joint interview with him for “Access Hollywood”, and added: “It’s a liberating thing to work with family.”
Damian has also been behind the camera for many of his mother’s bikini photo shoots.
During the interview, he acknowledged that some people find the situation strange.
“People find this really controversial,” the neophyte writer-director shared while explaining that show business has “been a fundamental part of my entire life, so for us it’s just not a thing, it’s part of the business.”
Elizabeth agreed with her son and shared that he calms her down.
“I’m relaxed in front of him,” she said. “He takes care of me… it’s relaxing to know there’s someone behind the camera taking care of you.”

The film, which Damian also wrote, centers on a group of friends and family who return to an island a year after a loved one (Lauren McQueen) apparently commits suicide.
But things are not what they seem and the cause of McQueen’s death may have been the result of foul play.
Damian spoke effusively about working with his mother on Instagram in December 2022.
“I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1 who, during the making of my first short film in 2010 (when I was 8 years old) promised me that she would be in my first feature film; True to her word, the moment this film was greenlit, Mom dropped everything and ran to the beautiful Caribbean to help,” she wrote at the time.
He continued enthusiastically: “Working together was a dream.”
“This has truly been the most incredible experience, both professionally and personally. I have made lifelong friends and learned many valuable lessons. “I am very proud of this film,” he added.
“The Royals” alum has long had a close relationship with her only son, whose father was the late businessman Steve Bing.
He died by suicide in 2020 at age 55 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
