Elon Musk vows to make things right after Tesla abandons small bakery with unpaid order | Top Vip News

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has personally committed to correcting a mistake by the electric vehicle maker that left a small company in San Jose in a difficult situation. According to Musk in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, people and companies should be able to count on Tesla to always do its best.

according to a crown4 report, Voahangy Rasetarinera of Giving Pies Bakery in San Jose posted about his experience with the electric vehicle manufacturer on social media. The Giving Pies has had large corporations as clients in the past, such as Apple and Google. So, when the company received an order for 2,000 cakes from Tesla, Rasetarinera and his team got to work.

As noted by Rasetarinera, Tesla later updated the order to 4,000 pies. The additional order required her and her staff to work Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. During this time, the bakery chose to reject other orders from different customers because they were busy fulfilling Tesla’s order. Rasetarinera noted that she followed up several times with Tesla to pay for the order, but was then informed by the company that the cakes were no longer needed.

“To fulfill the order, I turned down other Black History Month catering inquiries, purchased supplies, and prepared for a demanding production schedule. I called Laura at 2 pm only to receive a voicemail from her. A few minutes later, my hopes were shattered when I received a text from Laura, CASUALLY informing me that the plan had changed and that Tesla would no longer need the order. “This abrupt change left me reeling as I realized the extent of the impact on my small business,” Rasetarinera wrote in his social media post.

Tesla is a newsworthy company, so it was no surprise that the failed order circulated in media reports. Fortunately for the business owner, this also meant that Tesla CEO Elon Musk saw the story on X. In a response on the social media platform, Musk noted that it was the first time he had heard about the story. He also noted that he will do right by small business.

“I just found out about this. She will make things right with the bakery. “People should always be able to count on Tesla to do the best it can,” Musk wrote.

In a comment to Kron4, Rasetarinera noted that he received a message from Tesla after he posted his story on social media. She noted that she is willing to give the company a chance to do things right. “They said they wanted to fix it with me and offered me to do two events on March 6 and 7, but I’m still waiting for confirmation. If they want to fix things, I will give them the opportunity to do so,” she said.
