In the wake of this announcement, an excerpt from Esha Deol’s book ‘Amma Mia’, published in 2020, has resurfaced. She candidly shared the changes she experienced upon moving in with Bharat’s family, including the alterations in their lifestyle and dynamics domestic.
esha wrote: “When we got married in 2012, a lot of things changed. Of course, once I started living with her family, I couldn’t roam around the house in my shorts and ganjis like I used to.” However, Esha mentioned that Bharat’s family welcomed her with warmth and acceptance.

And since I was the first bahu in the house, they pampered me a lot. “Someone always sent me chocolate, fruit and cream brownies,” she wrote.
Esha and Bharat announced their separation in an official statement issued by them which read: “We have mutually and amicably decided to separate. However, the reason for their separation is still unknown. Esha Deol married Bharat Takhtani in a low-key wedding ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on June 29, 2012. Radhya was born to them in 2017. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019. Esha is daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini.
