“I had a great time making that movie and I realized that this is what work should feel like,” Nanjiani said during an appearance on the show. “So we had to travel the world while they thought we were going to participate in a wave of raves and it wasn’t true. The reviews were really bad,” Nanjiani said.

The actor said he read a lot of reviews and it ended up affecting his mental health, adding: “I think there was a strange soup in the atmosphere that explains why that movie was so criticized, and I don’t think it has much to do with it.” with the real quality of the movie. It was really difficult, and that’s when I thought it was unfair to me and (my wife) Emily, and I can’t approach my work this way anymore.
