Euphoria star hunter schafer was arrested in a pro-Palestine protest on Monday during the recording of Joe Biden‘s Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance, according to reports.
According Vulture, Schafer was one of 33 arrested while protesting for Palestinian rights with the group Jewish Voice for Peace on Monday.
Photos from the event show her wearing a T-shirt calling for an immediate ceasefire and a Reuters image sees her being escorted out of 30 Rock by an NYPD officer with her hands tied behind her back.
A spokesperson for the NYPD’s Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information told Deadline: “On Monday, February 26, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., there was a demonstration at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, on the edge of the district. Midtown North. The demonstration ended at 6:00 p.m. A total of 30 people were arrested. “Thirty people were issued summonses for trespassing.”
