According to our sources close to the development, Sajid Nadiadwala has roped in AR Murugadoss to direct Salman Khan in an expensive action entertainer that aims to hit the big screen during the Eid weekend 2025. “Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have been discussing a possible collaboration for a while now. When Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss discussed this issue, the only name that came to mind was Salman Khan, and when the producer discussed the film with Salman, it was an instant yes from the superstar,” a source close to the development revealed. further adding that he is a global action entertainer that will be filmed in several countries until 2024.

“The yet-untitled action thriller will be shot in Portugal and other European countries, apart from some parts in India, with a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, making it Sajid Nadiadwala’s most ambitious film. Meetings took place at the beginning of the year and all energies were aligned in the right way to start the film as soon as possible. Among all the scripts that came his way in the last one year, AR Murugadoss’ film is something he was most excited about, which led him to give priority to the film,” the source added.

The film will be released in the summer of 2024 with a marathon schedule that will extend until the end of the year in various locations worldwide. According to the source, this will be the biggest collaboration ever between Salman and Sajid, and the duo is looking to take it to the next level. AR Murugadoss is best known for directing films like Ghajini and Holiday in Hindi, while Kaththi, Sarkar, Darbar and Stalin, among others, in Tamil and Telugu. Interestingly, AR Murugadoss had proposed Ghajini to Salman Khan in 2006, and 18 years later, the duo finally comes together for the first time.
