Filmfare Awards 2024: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor win top acting awards: Full list of winners

Bollywood’s awards season kicked off with the 69th Filmfare Awards over the weekend. At this year’s awards ceremony, which was held in Gujarat, celebrity couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor won top acting honours. Alia Bhatt took home the Best Actress award for her role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani while her husband Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor award for his stellar performance in Animal. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal led the group with a total of 6 trophies, while Vidhu Vino Chopra 12th failure won some of the night’s biggest awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. In the Critics category, Vikrant Massey won the Best Actor award for 12th failure. Meanwhile, Rani Mukherji and Shefali Shah shared the Best Actress (Criticism) award for Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway and We threerespectively.

Vicky Kaushal, who was also nominated for Best Actor (Criticism) for his role in Sam Bahadurhe won the Best Supporting Actor award for his powerful performance in Rajkumar Hirani. Dunki. Filmmaker David Dhawan received the Lifetime Achievement Award. The award for Best Debut (Male) was won by faraaz Actor Aditya Rawal. farrey Actress Alizeh Agnihotri won the award for Best Debut (Female).
