Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani is all set to marry Radhika Merchant on July 12 this year. Before their wedding, a three-day grand pre-wedding celebration will be held in Gujarat’s Jamnagar from March 1 to 3.
Anand Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities will witness business and technology elites from around the world, including Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, along with the queen Jetsun Pema.
This third wedding at Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s house will match the carnivalesque magnanimity that was on display during Akash Ambani’s wedding to Shloka Mehta and Isha Ambani’s wedding to Anand Piramal.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding is expected to be attended by celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, among others.
Trader Anant Ambani-Radhika Wedding: Itinerary
Day 1
On March 1, 2024, the theme is “An Evening in Everland,” where guests are expected to dress in elegant cocktail attire.
Day 2
On March 2, 2024, festivities include ‘A Walk in the Wild’, whose dress code is ‘jungle fever’. It will be held outdoors at Ambanis Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
After this, guests will be escorted to ‘Mela Rouge’ where a medley of desi activities will take place. The dress code for guests at this event is South Asian attire.
Day 3
On March 3, 2024, there are two events scheduled, namely: ‘Tusker Trails’ and ‘Hashtakshar’. ‘Tusker Trails’ is an open-air event where guests can enjoy the natural beauty of Jamnagar. For the last event of the pre-wedding celebrations, called ‘Hashtakshar’, guests are expected to be dressed in ‘traditional Indian attire’.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar will reportedly involve a team of 65 chefs preparing over 2,500 dishes for the three-day festivities. The menu is expected to be truly global.
On Friday, Reliance Foundation posted a video on its Instagram account in which women from Gujarat can be seen curating Bandhani scarves for Anant and Radhika’s wedding functions.
Anant and Radhika got engaged in a traditional ceremony in January 2023 at the Antilia family residence in Mumbai.
