Sony rolled out the red carpet on Thursday for the world premiere of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empirethe final installment of the trilogy that mixes the original and rebooted cast.
Many of both were present tonight during the event at the AMC Lincoln Square in Manhattan, including stars of the original 1984 film Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and William Atherton, along with the new gang played by Paul Rudd, Carrie Coons. , McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim among others.
In Frozen EmpireArriving in theaters March 22, the Spengler family returns to where it all began, the iconic New York City firehouse, to team up with the original. Ghostbusters, who have developed a top-secret research laboratory to take ghost hunting to the next level. Gil Kenan directs the latest film and wrote the script with Jason Reitman. Both were also present tonight.
